This site describes one thing about each house, and only one. Not the rooms, not the service, not the view from the bed, but the water the building has to live with: a canal at the door, the sea below a cliff, a river that gives up its ice, a shower floor shared by everyone on it. Each entry answers four questions in the same order, and then stops. Nothing here is sold, rated or booked.

How the entries are written
Every entry follows the same four questions and one closing line, so the houses can be read against each other rather than one at a time. Sources are published ones, and anything that could not be checked was left out instead of guessed. Read the method.
